This will be up to an hour and a half of discussion and education to answer any questions you may have, set a plan for reaching your goals and provide breastfeeding education. This is also ideal for the person who will be delivering multiples or who has concerns about health history related to milk production, breast surgery, previous breastfeeding difficulties or challenges with anatomy. We will formulate a plan before baby arrives.

We will go over your main concern(s), goals and evaluate a feeding. Topics (including, but not limited to): Latch/positioning, breast/nipple care, breastfeeding aids (if applicable), pumping/milk storage, diet/nutrition/medications, establishing/maintaining a milk supply, infant oral assessment, breast assessment, pre/post feeding weight and developing an in depth plan to meet your goals. We have found that clients who have 2 or more visits tend to have optimal outcomes.
